How TRTS can serve your needs
A businessman wants to plan his train journey from his
city to another for a two day business trip followed by
another trip to a third city and back to his home. This
needs three separate journeys on separate days. The
gentleman wants to book his ticket from his office. This
is the need of the time.
A standard web enabled seat reservation ticketing system
can assure his business trip within several mouse clicks
from his Desktop PC in the office or bedroom. This way
he becomes tension free from multiple bookings and saves
time for himself and the transport operator. TRTS
provide exactly these facilities for the passenger.
TRTS provides on the spot (POS) and remote (through
internet and its dedicated WAN) bookings for the
journey. Its point of sale (POS) module provides quick
auto printing of tickets while the digital display shows
necessary information to the customer such as seat
availability of the journey. This transparent system
assures the client of his fair chance to travel in the
peak period. The MIS module provides reports to the
higher authority that tremendously improve the scope for
control and planning of the existing business process
and strategy. Use of the solution can save the operating
expenses by at least 20%, improve the capacity
utilization by at least 30% and most importantly
increase the passenger volume by 50%-60% with 90%
retention rate. Therefore it is TRTS that can provide
the all important business edge you need.

Technohaven in Automated Ticketing and reservation
system
Technohaven Co Ltd started its quest for Automatic
Online Ticketing and Seat Reservation system in 1992. In
1994 Bangladesh Railway (a century old state owned
nationwide railway network) signed on to use this
solution that was commissioned during 1994-96.
Technohaven Co Ltd owned, operated and maintained the
massive ticketing and seat reservation system for
Bangladesh Railway since then until April 2002 when the
system was finally transferred to the Bangladesh
Railway. Development and operation of this system for
nearly eight years resulted in high level expertise for
the company in this specific field that very few
organizations can match.
At Technohaven, we believe in success through
determining the true needs of our clients, finding out
possible solution and implement to meet the needs
comprehensively. To us every client is our development
partner. Therefore our strategy is to make every client
successful through our involvement.
Security features
By design, TRTS inherited a multilevel security
structure. The security of the software conforms to
international standards and is state-of-the-art. TRTS
shields the system from any unauthorized users and
hackers from all around the globe. Broadly we can divide
TRTS security as under:
Software level security: This security is inherited from
the Operating System (e.g., UnixWare), Database (e.g.,
Oracle 9 i) and Application itself. These security
systems will not allow unauthorized users to enter the
system. They also protect it from deadly virus or other
harmful unwanted programs; impose user level
restrictions (e.g. an operator can not perform the
functions of supervisory officers)
Physical security: TRTS also provides as option
integrated smart card that stores security data on the
card along with the user id/pwd to give access via smart
card reader.
Encryption/firewall: TRTS employs encryption and
firewall to protect reservation through internet. This
security saves the software and the system from the
attack of virus and hackers on the internet. There are
several key features integrated with the internet
security system:
A. SSL security (for remote internet client to web
server)
B. Asymmetric key based encrypting using PGP from web
server and application server to database server
C. Advance packet filtering firewall in DB server.
