How much do you charge for your website design services?
It depends on what you want! A dynamic website design or a design where a lot of advanced programming has been used will cost you more than a simple html website. To be honest you would be better with a simple site, it will cost you a lot less and a simple design will be easier to get ranked well in the search engines. Do I need to use a website design company that is local to me?
Location in this business is totally unimportant. As long as you have a telephone and an email address that is all that matters. We are based in London, but not one of are clients are, infact some of our clients are on the other side of the world. Not only can everything we need from you be emailed to us, but it is a requirement of our service. All text should be emailed to us (in a word document attachment if possible) and pictures should be emailed to us in jpeg format, or of course, if you do not have any suitable pictures for your website, we can generate images from our stock library.

Why should I use your website design services and not another company, and have you got a proven track record?
We provide a one to one personal service and are friendly and accommodating. We are always available by phone or email to answer your questions. Our website design prices are very competitive. We are experts in search engine optimization, most website design companies are not. Therefore, our unique and major selling point is in the fact that our service is risk free. We design your website without asking for any payment in advance - not even a deposit. You could phone us up right now and we would start to design the first page of your site within the hour, ready for your viewing within 24 hours, and if you did not like it, there would be no charge. We are unaware of any other UK website design company offering this service to its potential customers.

Are there any hidden charges for your website design or optimization services?
No! Once we have all the information about your requirements you will be given a price and that price will stand firm for both the website design and the optimization, if required. The only time a given price would change is if you want another page or any other material added before completion of the website.

Can I see the design while my website is under development?
Yes! Once the design for the main page has been completed it will be uploaded to our server for your approval. After approval the rest of website will be developed.

Can I make changes to the website design or text content once it has been started? Yes! The main page will be uploaded for your approval. If you want changes made to the design we can do it then.

How long will the design of my website take?
It depends. If you are just having a website designed and developed, about two weeks. If you are having optimization carried out as well, around three weeks. A lot depends on what your requirements are. We like to tell everyone a month, that way we don't make promises we can't keep.

How much do you charge for updates?
We only do updates to websites that we design. Our minimum charge is £20 per hour. Saying that if it's just a small change we usually don't make a charge!

What screen resolution will you design my website for?
Whatever screen resolution you would like. Most people have their screen resolutions set at 800x600 so that's the resolution we would usually design a website for.

I would like to use your website design service, what do I do now?

How long does it take for a design to be completed?
The timescale of a project is generally dictated by the client. If you have a deadline in mind I will endeavor to meet it for you. The most common delay in the creation of a site is waiting for content (text/images) to be sent to me by the client.

I would like you to design my site, what do I need to do now/what is the process?
If you would like to use my services, firstly 'thank you', secondly to answer the question - basically all you need to inform me is of the domain name you would like to use and send me a brief idea of your requirements. You can check domain name availability. I will then purchase the domain in your name, purchase the right hosting package for your project and then based on your guidance, design an initial web page for you.

Do I need to buy a domain name and hosting? No, I do everything for you.

What happens when I complete your contact form?
If you are making an enquiry about a possible site you would like created, please provide a brief outline of your requirements. I will then mail you back promptly with an idea of price/timescale and any suggestions with regard to your project. You are not obliged to use my services at any stage during this process, so feel free to use the form to ask me any related questions you may have.

Where do I submit my sites to the search engines? It is free to submit to Google and you can do that here, AltaVista is free, but to get your site refreshed regularly you should pay to submit it here, and I would also recommend you submit your site to Inktomi and FAST which can be done here.

What kind of services will I need once the site is completed?
Some websites require minimal maintenance while some require daily updates. Be sure to discuss your site's future needs with your web developer.

After designing the web-site, if it needs to be updated what is your maintenance fee to do this?
We offer free technical support and 30 days free maintenance/updates is provided following site completion, installation and publishing. If you anticipate minor changes/updates on an infrequent basis after the 30 day grace period, website maintenance requests are invoiced at $35.00 per hour in 15 minute increments, after all maintenance requests have been completed to your satisfaction. NOTE: UP TO 2 HOURS OF MONTHLY EDITS/UPDATE TIME IS BUILT INTO OUR HOSTING ACCOUNTS!

If there are any problems, how are they corrected? Support service?
If there are problems with the website's functionality, that would be our responsibility. You are hiring a web designer/developer to not only design your website, but make sure it is functional across all platforms and make sure your users are getting the most benefit from your website. If there is a server related problem, your web designer would interact with the web hosting company to resolve those problems. We have close relationships with several hosting companies and understand how they work and speak their "language."

Would we need to use your company to revise and update our website?
You can call on us at any time to revise and update the website. This is an ongoing service we provide to all our clients. Or, in the alternative, you can select any designer of your choice. After we have completed a website, we will provide you with (1) all the source files and code (2) a document which contains all the passwords, usernames, database information and any other information related to the website. Any experienced web designer should be able to follow through.
